NIBM has organized an International Program on “Promoting Real Innovations for Sustainable Agribusiness” from November 17th to 22nd, 2025, sponsored by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, under the ITEC Scheme. As part of the program, a visit to Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Baramati was organised on 20th November 2025, to give a practical exposure to participants and show them innovations in the agribusiness sector in India. The participants explored various technological innovations in agriculture, like the implementation of AI in agriculture, protected cultivation, millet processing, fish farming, soilless farming like hydroponics, aeroponics, etc. A total of 12 participants from 9 countries participated in the visit. Dr.Nisha Bharti, faculty member at NIBM accompanied participants for the visit. Mr Rajendra Pawar, the Chairman of Agriculture Development Trust, Baramati, Pune also interacted with the participants and discussed the importance of technology in promoting sustainable agriculture.
