56TH NIBM FOUNDATION DAY CELEBRATIONS

🌟 NIBM celebrates its 56th Foundation Day! 🌟

NIBM Campus was honored to host Prof. S. Mahendra Dev, Chairman, Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister, Government of India, as Chief Guest for the Foundation Day Lecture on “Future of India: Growth, Inclusion and Sustainability.”

Highlights from his address included India’s growth prospects, role of reforms, MSMEs and exports, importance of education & skills, financial inclusion, climate change, and the vision of “Viksit Bharat.”

The celebrations began with Saraswati Vandana, followed by a welcome address by Prof. Partha Ray, Director NIBM who reflected on NIBM’s journey since 1969 — building strong industry linkages, advancing research, and contributing to the banking and financial sector.

National Institute of Bank Management (PGDM) students, faculty, staff, alumni, and executive programme participants from across countries joined the event, engaging in an insightful Q&A with the Chief Guest.

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Arindam Bandyopadhyay, Dean Academic Programme & Principal, NIBM PGDM.

The happiest surprise of the day? 🌸 Seeing Prof. Partha Ray, Director NIBM, take the stage alongside his better half, joining staff members in a delightful skit—showcasing the spirit of togetherness that truly defines NIBM. 👏
