NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF BANK MANAGEMENT (NIBM) CELEBRATED ITS 53RD FOUNDATION DAY ON SEPTEMBER 24, 2022

The Foundation Day address was delivered online by the Chief Guest, Dr. Naushad Forbes, Co-Chairman, Forbes Marshall and author of a recent book titled, “ The Struggle And The Promise: Restoring India’s Potential” (Harper Collins, 2022).  He spoke on the various aspects of the Struggle and the Promise of the Indian Nation and delved into the future.
Further, as a part of the celebrations, the full day was filled with plethora of events including some sports, fun activities, cultural show and quiz.  The day started with Relay races followed by a NIBM walk and then the best of the bunch was the faculty, staff and students 'tug of war' event. The further proceedings of the event included Address by Dr. Partha Ray, Director NIBM and felicitation of three of the staff members, viz., Ms Sudha Ravindran, Ms Lalitha Pillai and Ms Gauri Swami, who completed 25 years of their dedicated service in the Institute.   Everyone, more particularly the PGDM students participated with great zeal in the cultural events.  Fun games like musical chair was organised. The Quiz conducted in the evening had enthusiastic participation of all, followed by prize distribution for the events.
This 53rd NIBM Foundation Day will be a day of remembrance for not only all the fun and joy but also, for honouring the Institute for its achievements over the years, and a day to look forward to more glorious times to come.
